For this project, I worked with Sarah Bayot of Kicheko Goods, a socially conscious jewelry line, to create 3 instagram promotional images of her jewelry. She wanted the images to reflect ‘summer fun’ while incorporating some key pieces from her line. After some back and forth and some lusting after her jewelry, we landed on a pool scene, a beach scene, and a New York city scene.
We wanted to incorporate something New York city related since Sarah wanted the timing of these posts to coincide with her upcoming craft show in Brooklyn. From there, I crafted a cut paper Brooklyn map with some essential travel items.
For the beach scene, I laid a paper towel down and placed the necklace on top as if it was tanning on the sand.
But the pool scene is honestly my favorite. It also executed exactly how I imaged it in my head with the David Hockney pool squiggles and the shiny silver steps into the pool.
Can it be summer forever?
